Our podcast seeks to empower individuals with practical tools meant to promote growth in several areas of personal wellness. The show gives listeners the opportunity to join in on conversations with our hosts and their special guests as they discuss issues related to wellness dimensions such as Emotional Wellness, Physical Wellness, Environmental Wellness, and more. We want our conversations to encourage our listeners to prioritize their own wellness by providing information on how to do just that! Invited guests will include experts from various backgrounds such as counseling, health and nutrition, spiritual and religious leaders, financial advisors, and many more!  Tune in with us so that we can connect and get well together!



What is wellness, really?

Wellness can be viewed from varied perspectives. Our podcast is NOT promoting any particular wellness program. Both hosts are professional counselors, so the purposes of our show, we will be using a definition of wellness that aligns to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Association: 

“Wellness is a holistic integration of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, fueling the body, engaging the mind, and nurturing the spirit (1). Although it always includes striving for health, it’s more about living life fully (1), and is “a lifestyle and a personalized approach to living life in a way that… allows you to become the best kind of person that your potentials, circumstances, and fate will allow” (2).”
